Lakme Reinvent – Vogue Fashion’s Night Out
Hola Magnifico’s :)
Lakme pampered me with yet another invitation :) – This time it was the Lakme Reinvent at the Vogue Fashion’s Night Out. It was actually a make-over session at the Lakme Pro-Stylist Lounge which read “Get a Chic and Stylish Look” and win a chance to feature in next issue of Vogue ;) – I was stirred up for the event :)
What : Event : Lakme Reinvent – Vogue Fashion’s Night Out
When : 5th September 2013
Where : High Street Phoenix Palladium Mall, Lower Parel
I was so excited that I made it to the event post my office hours and had to gear up (make-up .. shoes .. accessories) in the car – It was first of its kind experience and I had a lot of fun ;)
I entered into what my bro quotes “Your Home Ground” ;) – The gorgeous High Street Phoenix Palladium Mall :) (Truly Feels Home ;)). I was guided by the volunteer to the Lakme pro-stylist lounge – I booked my slot for the make-over and went shopping – Remember the 20 minutes Haul ;).
As they say Girls will be Girls ;) – A fashion night out with discounts written all over the mall space, You are bound to meet your Girlfriends ;) – I met Shanaya first up – Hugs Kisses and Pictures :) then a level up I railled into Anusree – Hugs and Kisses and it was time to say Sayonara to her :) and on my way back to the lounge I met Jazz – It was so great to meet the girl again :) and now I really felt HOME ;)
Lets take a virtual tour of the Lakme Pro-Stylist Lounge :)
Now it was my turn to switch into the makeover mode :)
First up were – Nails ;)
My nails were cuddled with couple of coats of Night Desire from the Lakme Absolute Fast and Fabulous range and later using a Shimmery Golden shade a simple yet pretty Nail Art was imprinted.
Now, Turning my attention to the second step of the reinvent – The face make-up :)
The beautiful artist went on with Lakme Mousse as a base to my makeup and followed with Lakme CC cream and settled the entire base with Lakme Compact Powder.
Later, Contour using Lakme Absolute Bronzer and added a hint of Pinkish-Coral Blush on the cheeks.
For my eyes, A green shade from the Lakme Absolute Eye Chromatic Day Queen Baked Shadow was selected to offer a smokey effect. Applied Lakme Khol from 9 to 5 range on the waterline and the upper lash line and finished off with couple of coats of Lakme Eyeconic Mascara.
I insisted to keep the same shade of lipstick which I went for the event and even the artist agreed to the same :)
Now coming to the last part – Hairstyle :D
The hairstylist went with a Side Swept Rope Braid for my long hair and that completed my makeover :)
It’s time for the Photo-shoot :)
I was so happy with my makeover as I went flaunting it all over the mall ;) and while doing so I met someone special – My favourite designer “Masaba Gupta” – She needs no introduction – She was so sweet and adorable :)
Post dinner, I went back to the lounge to collect my piece of memory ;) where I was knowledged – that the Lakme Reinvent was also a part of their promotion for the new Lakme Salon which is going to launch at Bandra.
I was time to bid the event adieu – I stepped out with a Happy Heart – A cupcake – Few make-up goodies and A picture for my memories :)
So did you girls loved the Lakme Reinvent makeover on me ?
