Givenchy Photo Perfexion Fluid Foundation 05 Perfect Praline
Hello Magnifico’s :)
I’m about to share the latest update from my summer makeup vanity. So after ages, I have finally decided to shift my loyal to Givenchy for the base makeup. I hardly goof around when it comes to my base makeup products so it’s a major renovation in my beauty arsenal. So what tempted me to make this change ?
Let’s find out as I put the Givenchy Photo Perfexion Fluid Foundation & Givenchy Le Prisme Blush under Forever Magnifico’s review scanner.
Product Report :
Givenchy Photo’Perfexion Fluid Foundation SPF 20 PA+++ works like a concealer to correct imperfections, smooth the skin’s texture, and even out the complexion. With the expertise and speed of a digital retoucher, Photo’Perfexion conceals dark shadows and sallow complexions. It goes on smooth and velvety every time and delivers a flawless finish—minus the heavy, cakey feeling.
Price : Rs. 2350
Quality : 25 ml
Shade : o5 Perfect Praline
My Experience with the Product :
Packaging : The foundation is housed in a transparent glass bottle which allows you to locate the correct shade plus keep track of the quantity. The bottle comes with pump dispenser to dispense just the right amount of product. The cap has a holographic logo printed on the top and name of the shade printed on the rear end. Overall, I find the packaging elegant, classy and travel friendly.
Color : The shade ‘Perfect Praline‘ beautifully compliments my NC35 in MAC skin. It’s a perfect foundation to wear, if you are looking to don a very natural look during the day time. I also feel the shade will compliment a lot of Indian skin tone beauties.
Texture & Finish : The texture of the Photo Perfexion fluid foundation is soft & creamy plus it feels very light on the skin. The consistency is just about perfect which helps in even blending of the product during application.
The foundation offers a flawless matte finish which allows my skin to photograph well. I apply the layer foundation over the top a primer which gives my skin a touch of velvety and luminous vibe.
Coverage : The foundation offers my skin medium coverage which is buildable to a certain extent. But the single layer manages to cover my acne marks and spots on my skin. The look it offers is very natural and doesn’t seem to be cakey even if one goes ahead with an extra layer. You can also skip your sunscreen as the foundation is powered with SPF 20 PA+++.
Staying Span : I have experienced wear time of 7 hours, post which my T-zone starts to leak oil.
I would also like to give a shout out to the beautiful Givenchy Le Prisme blush which I topped over the foundation to complete my look. The shade ‘Aficionado Peach‘ is a gorgeous four color blush which when used alone or mixed together offers a healthy tint and more dimension to my face. The luxurious color pay-off and soft matte finish makes it a highly recommended blush from my end.
