Lakme Absolute Illusion Masterclass LFW 2014
Hello Beauties :)
I promised to come up with more elaborated version of the Lakme Absolute Illusion Masterclass in the Tour De Lakme Fashion Week post – So here I’m scribbling on the entire session packed with most amazing and awesome makeup tips and tricks.
The session kick started as Head Innovation at Lakme – Purnima Lamba introduced The Face of Lakme in the Digital World – Sarah Jane Dias who dazzled the mini ramp ;) and later the stage was graced with the introduction of Lakme Makeup Expert – Natasha Nischol.
In the second edition of Lakme Absolute Masterclass – Natasha Nischol created a day and night look on model for the session Sarah Jane Dais using the theme “How to flaunt metallic eyes and nails” inspired from 70’s era.
Day Look :
Sarah had already primed up her face with Lakme Youth Infinity Moisturizer followed by Lakme Absolute Foundation and set it with Compact prior to the show.
For Eye makeup, Natasha started with Lakme Absolute Drama Stylist Eye Shadow Crayon in Purple all over the lid and blended with help of finger ring followed by the hues from the Purple Haze – Lakme Absolute Drama Stylist Eye Shadow Duos on the outer and the inner corner of the eyes in order to achieve more dimension to the eye makeup. A hue of teal was topped onto the lid from the Blue Shadow – Lakme Absolute Drama Stylist Eye Shadow Duos & Blended the colors at the crease area. Highlighted the brow bone area with the new metallic eye shadow (Cant remember the shade name ?). Curled off the lashes and finished off with couple of coats of the Lakme Absolute Voluminizing Mascara.
As there were loads of colors used on the eyes, Natasha skipped the blusher and only applied Lakme Absolute Sun- Kissed Bronzer to contour.
Finished off the day look with the summer trending orange pout using Lakme 9 to 5 Matte Lip Color in shade Vermillion Fired.
Night Look :
It was plum smokey eye makeup for the night – which was achieved by blending Lakme Absolute Drama Stylist Eye Shadow Crayon in Purple and later builded up the intensity factor by using the darker tone of purple from the Purple Haze – Lakme Absolute Drama Stylist Eye Shadow Duos & smudged a thin line of eye liner. Added a charming spark using Lakme Absolute Drama Stylist Eye Shadow Crayon in Pink. Completed the eye makeup by curling the lashes and using couple of coats of Lakme Absolute Voluminizing Mascara.
Sarah pout was tinted with soft coral hue lipstick from the Lakme Lip Love range in shade Rust Crush. Applied touch of glitter over the cheek bones with help of Lakme Absolute Blush in shade Night Sheen.
Lakme Absolute Illusion Masterclass plays yet another instrumental part in my learning curve as Beauty Blogger. I have tried my luck with metallic smokey purple eyes earlier HERE. Hope to come up with my version of the looks soon :).
