Three Toned Ombre Lips
Hello Magnifico’s :) Wish You a Colorful Monday ;)
Colorful Monday ? Surprise ? – You must be thinking its Monday and Vipra isn’t suffering from Monday Blues ?
Answer is NO ! – I’m feeling Monday Pink, Red & Orange :D (I know that sounded silly ;)). But those are the colors I played with this weekend in a single post – Yeah right ! I’m going to do a tutorial on Three Toned Ombre Lips using Red, Orange and Hot Pink :).
I had this look planned from quiet a long time but was confused with so many questions in my head when it came to its execution phase
Can I carry it ? .. How will I look ? .. Will it suit Me ? .. Can I get it bang on in the first shot ?
Yesterday, I took the first step and everything else that followed simply fell into their place beautifully :) – I was extremely happy to nailed it in one go *HappyDance* – That reflects on my mood today :)
Let’s start with the tutorial part – I can’t wait to unveil it :D
- MAC Lip Pencil – Embrace Me.
- Colorbar Definer Lip Liner – Clear Red.
- Colorbar Definer Lip Liner – Sizzling Orange.
- MAC Matchmaster Foundation.
- Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub.
Step 1 : Prepare your lips with exfoliation, Its a much needed step as winters have arrived and my lips tends to get a bit dry plus I’m using only lip pencils for the entire lip look which sometimes tend to settle into the fine lines.
Step 2 : Apply small amount of foundation onto the lips and blend it well so that you can get rid of the natural lip color and create a lovely base for the lip look.
Note : I’m going to employ the ombre effect by operating horizontally beginning from the upper lips towards the lower lips – First I’m going to start with Red which is followed by Pink and finishes off with Orange.
Step 3 : Start outlining the upper lip with Red and once you are done – Using the same Red color feather it down upto the 1/3rd part of the upper lips.
Step 4 : Now pick up the Hot Pink or Neon Pink shade and fill the left area on the upper lips and at the same time try to blend the Pink color with the Red to get that gradient ombre effect going.
Step 5 : Then with a Poppy Orange shade outline the bottom part of the lips and feather the color in the upward direction covering the 1/3rd part as shown in the pic. below.
Step 6 : Again grab the Neon Pink and fill the area on the lower lips left uncolored and blend it with the Orange shade.
Step 7 : Lastly, Lining the lips from the outer side with help of concealer to correct any unevenness.
That is how you can achieve the most fun Ombre Lips !
So Magnifico’s flaunt that Ombre effect Pout this season :) Hope you all liked it – Love :)
